We’re sorry to say that at this stage we may not be attending this weekends 360 Aussie title. Between work commitments and the damage we sustained at warnambool last weekend there just isn’t enough time to get everything ready. We will re group and see you all in a couple weeks somewhere else.

Heys guys enjoy this video my youngest son made for me from yesterday’s practice at Premier Speedway. Had a great day and the 360 car felt awesome. thank you to Narelle, Aaron, Troy, Jack, Zac, Simon, Stewy, all the girls and Little Ricky for all the help getting ready.
Much like other tracks Premier speedway and the SRA guys are obviously working really hard and doing some amazing new things for our sport which is fantastic. Great work people.
Can’t wait for Moama next weekend in the 410 car.

Our new PRP Engineering Australian made 15” steering wheels are in the final design stages and being tested on the car this weekend.
These have been much more of a challenge than I expected but we’re getting very close now.
This actual design is constantly evolving so the final product may look different to this but the wheel is coming along very nicely, the material choice and structural component is all worked and performing above expectations, we are just deciding on the final shape.
Nearly 1/2 the weight of a traditional with very high MPa strength, flex, longevity and impact resistance.

Well guys if yesterdays play day at Premier Speedway, Warrnambool is a sign of how the racing is gunna be on there new track surface, I think it is going to be bloody amazing !!!!! Great job by all involved, I can only imagine how much work has gone into re surfacing that track. We had an absolute blast, I would have run laps all night if possible it was so much fun and we can’t wait for the season to start.

This was our first heat race last night before our engine gremlins snuck in. It was filmed by my wife Narelle.
The Redline track prep crew prepared us an amazing race track last night and I was very disappointed to not be able to run in the feature. Also great to see some good old common sense allowing us to idle back up a designated lane nearly all the way back to our pit area. Great work Redline Raceway 👌

Good morning good people
Ok so as you all know we finally got our new transporter operational , it’s not totaly finished yet (but are they ever) and with the last race in the books for this season we’ve got a few months now to finish it all up.

Results from the 3 races we did aren’t what we wanted mainly because of a few race car gremlins and me being a bit rusty but we will have that all sorted out before next season along with a brand new car design.

We did have some really good car speed at times but a few gremlins held us back from getting the results we thought we deserved.

Most importantly though we have had an absolute blast being back on Australian soil racing again.

It’s so awesome to be back in the car and catching up with everyone we havnt seen in so long.

Our first outing a few weeks ago we did a few laps at the practice night for the Australian title and had really good car speed but weren’t able to compete because we hadn’t done enough races in Australia to qualify for the event.

Then we raced a double header weekend at Avalon and simpson were we again had good speed at a Avalon but got tangled up in the A main bending the front of our frame which we didn’t discover until after Simpson which is why we didn’t perform well the second night.

Last night at Ballarat we thought we had the car all sorted out and we had a good first heat race but something went wrong with our injection during the second heat and only got worse from then on forcing us to pull in before the start of the A main.

I want to thank firstly Andrew Corbett from the Corbett group, Mint Signs, J***y Butler, my wife Narelle, my 2 Sons and all the guys at PRP Engineering for all there hard work getting me back out on the track.

We will get everything sorted this winter and be much more prepared for next season.

We will also do our annual trip to the USA to race over there, this year we decided on the fall Nationals in Chico California.

So for now as always have fun, be safe and go fast everyone. “In that order”

Cheers

Well tonight’s sunset marks the end of another day and unfortunately also the end of our chances to come back for this years Classic.
A hand full of you guys knew of our plans to return to the track with our American compatriot for this years GASCC but we simply just aren’t ready for the task despite our hard work and best efforts.
As you know I like to do things properly or not at all.
I havnt given up but unless old Saint Nick brings me a Christmas miracle and a few tradies willing to work the holidays we’re gunna be s**t out of luck.

Great news our trusty USA Ford F350 tow rig is back on deck thanks to the great guys at JP Panels in Chico she is looking super fine once again after being stolen and damaged last year and we survived 2 nights of racing.
Myself on the other hand is very very rusty to say the least but we turned some laps and managed a few good ones plus tested out our new motor and pushed everything back into the trailer with no damage both nights so that’s a win I reckon after so long away from the track. Once again I can’t thank all the boys from Tiner Hirst once again for looking after and preparing all our gear.
We get a lot of help and support from the whole Tiner, Helwig, Hirst and other families and friends over here that we appreciate greatly.
