4th Hole, 171 metres. Par 3

Bunkered on the left with a green that has a severe slope on the right side. A 4 or 5 iron to the centre will give you the best chance of birdie. Missing long or left is rarely a problem.

It is set to be a hotly contested Rennick trophy on Saturday. With Col O'Sullivan, Daniel Dubens, Jason McClure, Ross Foreman, Dave Pilcher, Terry Gamble, Colin Hudgson, and Shane White the top 8 player on the leaderboard. However, I can tell you there are still plenty of others who could pop up and sn**ch one of our most prestigious titles.
Good luck to all involved!

Thank you our 2025/26 sponsor of the 3rd Hole. David Evans and his team at Tyre Power offer a wealth of knowledge with a friendly approach to not only tyres and wheels but to mechanical servicing. Members receive a 10% discount.

3rd hole 326 metres.

A very good hole with placement of the drive the key. A long iron or 3 wood down the centre with a little draw is ideal. It is important to go further right when hitting an iron to allow a clear shot at the green. The green is bunkered right but the real danger is missing left or long as you will be left with an almost impossible up and down. A nice flat putting surface to reward a good approach shot.

2nd Hole. 408 Metres.

So much for an easy day as this hole requires two very well struck shots. A drive down the centre with a small fade will leave a down hill lie and a long iron. The green is most unfriendly and will repel all but the best shot. Once on the green, putting is pretty simple.

The 2nd hole is sponsored by BTP

BTP offer a wide range of services to help you run your business as effectively and as stress free as possible. With specialist services including Financial Planning, SMSF services, business acquisitions & mergers, estate planning plus many more.

August Monthly Medal tee times are now open. Members raffle 3pm- must be there to win it.

1st Hole. 296 metres.

A good starting hole to get the field away. Starting holes should not be too difficult and this one is not. A drive to the right of centre will give you a short iron approach down the length of the green. It is one of the quicker greens on the course.

We appreciate the commitment from Sizzlin’ Sensations, continuing to sponsor our opening hole in 2025/26.
Sizzlin’ Sensations is the Macedon Ranges' premier butcher. Glen is a great supporter of the golf club and local sport clubs Thank you Glen for your support again this year.

The CC Fisher doubles honourboard will boast a new pair of names after captain David Austin and Tien Ho romped to a 6&5 victory in cold, blustery conditions on Saturday.
While the temperature gauge was around 3C when they began, an icy northerly made it feel like -5C and Jason McClure (5) and Nick Williamson (11) failed to turn up the heat, the underdogs winning
the 2nd, 4th, 5th and 6th holes, losing the 3rd and 9th to turn 2-up, then taking four in a row to end the match on the 13th.
The champions dovetailed perfectly, virtually taking turns to feature on the scorecard and capitalising on strokes given.
