Last night we held our last ever annual dinner presentation night. Attended by 57 members and invited guests. A sad night for all to close the club after 65 years. So many memories and friendships have been created. It was a great night and fantastic to catch up and chat with former members. Many stories shared amongst all.

Due to unforeseen circumstances out of our control. No comp was held today due a large power outage that went on to 1pm. Pro Shop was inaccessible as was the cart shed. So, a number of players had to go home and the 14-remaining played on as a social game. We lost a further 3 as conditions were unbearably humid. A first for the club. The cause of the power outages being numerous pole top fires taking out 40000+ homes and businesses across the metro area. We had a total of 2mm or rain and chaos rained on the community :(
