Despite our hiatus from the racetrack and Facebook, we are still very much here and following our fellow nitro pals and their racing around Australia 🙌🏻

In non-racing news, today we celebrate another year and another birthday for the Beach Bomb driver Andrew Katavatis 🥳

We did it! 3x BME WA Nitro Championship WINNER 🏆 🏆 🏆

Well what a season it has been! Rewind to the beginning of the 2023/24 season where we made the call to race 2 of the 4 events. Fast forward to now - we have run 3 of 4 resulting in a 3rd championship win in this category. Did someone say drag racing was addictive?!

Performance wise this season has been less than ideal with some hurt parts but overall we are happy. While we don’t have sponsors, none of this would be possible without the generous help of the following people:

- Our crew - thank you for your ongoing dedication and support. At times we were a bit stretched this season so appreciate those who stepped up or in

Finally and most importantly, Dad and Mum (Erica Katavatis). This win is for you both. I could never thank you enough for the opportunity to go NFC racing and put on a show for all our family, friends and fans 💙

CELEBRATIONS X 2 🎉

Today we celebrate:
1. The birthday of the Beach Bombs driver Andrew Katavatis - HBD Andrew 🥳
2. Our 3RD BME WA Nitro Championship! We are so excited to share the news that we have secured the championship win this season! 🏆

THE GRAND FINAL WRAP

We were excited to race the Aeroflow Nitro Funny Cars boys despite the tight turn for the team as we didn’t expect to be running this event. How could we miss it though?!

Massive thanks to our team for digging deep to get the car turned around for the event but also each and every round 👍

R1
The car had some clutch issues and it slowed to a 5.50 and giving the win to Justin Walshe Racing

R2
Our fave pass of the night with great side by side 5.4’s with Brandon Gosbell! We took the win 🏆 by the slightest of margins but unfortunately hurt a couple of pistons.

B FINAL
The team turned the car around ready to run against Josh Leahy Racing. The car was fast (wish we could have ran you down to the finish line Josh!) but unfortunately Andrew Katavatis couldn’t steer away from the centre line and had to get off throttle 😥

What an incredible event to be part of to finish the season @ the Perth Motorplex! Massive thanks to our East coast races, our supporters and followers from around the globe 🌎 we hope you enjoyed the racing!

We didn’t get to share our final run for the night so here it is - thanks Melly's Motorplex Mania. Carried the front wheels, hit a couple timing blocks and an early shut off. Great pass from Josh Leahy Racing in the right 👏🏼 always good to run these guys from the east 👍

Our 3rd pass against THE BANDIT didn’t go to plan (live feed issues also) and we crossed the centreline for the first time in a long time taking with us some timing blocks. A full wrap of the race event to come!

On the flip the Aeroflow Nitro Funny Cars boys were just too good! Pleasure having you here, thanks for putting on an outstanding show at the Perth Motorplex 👊🏼
