Congratulations to our patriarch Jeff receiving the honour of Life Membership at the Late model awards night last night for his contribution to the club over the past 25 years.
Also awarded were the late Bob Chalmers, Ben Ludlow and Chris Cardy.

Congratulations to all the worthy winners on a great night organised by the hard working LMRA WA committee.

The big news to come out of the night was the announcement of Canningvale Toyota heading in as major sponsors of the series for 2 years by Paul Davies dealer principal, forming an even bigger partnership with Latemodels.

Exciting times ahead for the coming 2026/27 season.

At the Toowoomba Speedway Australian Championship… the grand parade lasted longer than some feature races. Tiny bit of rain and the whole field turned into a scrapyard before the green even dropped 😂”

Throw back Thursday for Late Model Racing Western Australia - LMRWA . Driver introduction for the Final round of the Inaugural LMRWA Series at Ellenbrook Speedway for the 1997/98 Season.
Front row, Rob MacGregor, Aj Nylander, John Cardy, Ben Ludlow, Kevin Bell. 2nd Row, Myself, Rob Whittington, W***y Powell, Luke Halliday, Ivor Ladwig, Bruce Trenaman and Ryan Halliday.
The State Title that year was decided over the Seasons points, Aj, Dad and John Cardy went into the Final Round as the only 3 that could mathematically win.
AJ nursed his car home for the win and The Inaugural WA Late Model Title.
How about that for some Thursday night History Lessons.
