Studio Tap 'n' Groove Dance Studio SHAYNE'S TAP ’N’ GROOVE has been in existence for the past 30 years and operates out of the Kurri Kurri Girl Guides and Anglican Church halls.

The focus of the studio is FUN, FAMILY AND FRIENDS. Offering classes for ages 2+, Shayne's Tap 'n' Groove offers tuition in:
- Tap
- Jazz
- Acro
- Hip Hop
- Contemporary and Classical classes
- Concert, Exam and Eisteddfod work
- Boys & Girls Hip Hop
- Adult classes
- Move 'n' Groove classes designed for toddlers and their parents. Whether you are a beginner or advanced dancer, Shayne's Tap 'n' Groove is the place where EVERYONE has the chance to shine!

Ages: 4+
We have recreational cheer classes available for all ages. With plans to have competitive teams in future!
In cheer students will be taught by qualified Australian All Star Cheerleading Federation Coaches with a background in dance and gymnastics. One of which is a former Gymnastics NSW Judge. ✅
This class will include:
🩵 Strength & Conditioning
🩵 Stunting (Safety and importance)
🩵 Jumps
🩵 Tumbling
🩵 Flexibility
Student will also learn valuable knowledge on the importance of strength in tumbling and that flexibility is not all that’s required in tumbling and how strength is important in keeping our bodies healthy and safe as we get older.

This class is for toddlers and parents to both be involved and help your child gain development skills and milestones. Whilst dancing and having fun! 🩵

We have a variety of uniform items to choose from. 👗🎒
From studio wear to accessories there’s lots in store. (Possibly even something new in 2026 🤫)
Whilst some of our uniform items are required for certain classes (to ensure safety and modesty) we have a variety of options to pick so that your student can not only feel confident but also part of the family! 💕
From our cute little leotard dresses for our tinies to our breathable baseball tees there’s something for everyone! 🤩
