So many whales . Had a very close encounter .. exhaling noise through their blowhole was soooo loud! Sounded like a lion roaring 💕

Hi everyone
Given the extreme weather this week, I think we should postpone this week’s 6th July walk … I hope you will all agree?
Cathy Rubbi - enjoy your time overseas with your new precious grandson .
Any suggestions for our next 5 weeks are gratefully appreciated 🙏🙏
Cheers and keep safe , Janine

On Wednesday 29/6, we will continue our whale watching expeditions. Peter has suggested we return to Maroubra and follow the coastal track to Little Bay and back.
We will meet at 10 am as usual. Looking forward to seeing you all then😀😀
Note the link attached goes all the way to La Perouse but we will go to Little Bay.

Want to go for a walk? Free download maps and tracknotes for the Maroubra to La Perouse walk. The walk takes about 5 hrs (13.4 km One way), and heads though the delightful Botany Bay National Park. This walk is closed at the northern end as there is no safe access to Malabar Head, updates to come...

Thanks to you all for enjoying our walk today . My watch said 12km although Karen Lethlean did 15km 🤣🤣. Grays Point to Audley via Reid’s Flat, then up to Robertson’s Loop and on to Kangaroo Creek and further along ( up) towards Heathcote on the Engadine Trail and return to Grays Point via Honeymoon Stairs. Beautiful, refreshing trek in the rain ☔️. PS - my health app said 111 Floors climbed 😮😊

Hi All, Wednesday 5/8 is our next walk. After chatting with Peter GoonPan, we have decided that it may be fun to catch a ferry from Cronulla to Bundeena and walk to Jibbon Point then onto Marley Beach and back. We plan to catch the 9.30 am ferry from Cronulla and I will attach a map and ferry timetable. Looking forward to seeing you all there.

An absolutely fantastic walk today from Como to Oatley Park and back today. A big thank you to our fabulous leader Lynn Diblasi. Your enthusiasm and planning was amazing. We had a record number of 21 walkers. Thanks also to Scotty Bee for cooking the sausages and haloumi and to Matt for the chocolates. The scenery was absolutely beautiful on a perfect sunny winter’s day. We had lots of fun on the slippery dip challenge also. Looking forward to our next walk on the 5/8. Details will be posted a week beforehand.

Hi Walkers, our next walk will be on the 1/7 and we will walk from Como to Oatley Park led by Lyn. She has a real adventure in store with a sausage sizzle at Oatley Park and a slippery dip and flying fox challenge 🤨🤨. Shire people can meet at Como bridge at 9.30 am and we will meet Oatley crew on the other side.
Lyn thinks the walk is approximately 13 kilometres. Please indicate below if you can make it for catering purposes.
Looking forward to seeing you all.
