Pretty cruisey day. Walked 5km round trip to the waterhole, puppies had a swim. Came back, crashed. Played some rummykub, didn't win one game...not happy Jan! Had dinner then climbed the hill to watch the sunrise. Way too much exercise for this little ducky!

Spent the last couple of days at Little Roper Stock Camp. What a great place. Mataranka hot springs are just down the road. They have this great breakfast, Johnny Cakes. Cross between a pancake and a don't. Yummo! $2 each. You can also order a fresh loaf of bread, home baked by Des. Awesome.

So we have been exploring Litchfield the last couple of days. Some spectacular scenery and great rockpools for cooling off in. We went to The Lost City today, what a wonderful place. Make sure you look up, there some interesting shapes to be found. Let us know what you see...
We also went to Wangi Falls. A bit more touristy, but still lovely. Would have gone in for a swim with the others, but someone managed to lose half her bathers! So no swimming for me! Found them on the caravan floor when we got back. I went for a wander while they had a swim. Felt like I had had a swim afterwards, bit hot! Very humid.
We went to have lunch down the road at the Banyan Tree, when this cute little cat decided to curl up in my hat!

Today we arrived at Litchfield. We are just outside the National Park.
Once we got set up we headed off to explore. John stayed back and looked after the puppies. He's been here before! Anyway, brenda, John (the other one) and myself went to Buley Rock Pool, and Florence Falls. Beautiful. On the way, we stopped in at the Magnetic termite mounds. They are more flat than other mounds and they face north/south.
It was nice to cool off in the rock pool as it was 34° yay! Feeling refreshed, we headed to Florence Falls. Nice and cool with all the foliage. 135 steps to go down. 🥵 Check out the pics.

Today we went for a drive to Dundee Beach. Lovely spot. Had lunch just outside the tavern as it is not doggy friendly inside. Even in the outside part! Anyway had a nice pizza 🍕
Went to explore a bit more of the area, but again, not all puppy friendly 😒. We came across this WWII runway with some spitfire models. We had a nice drive though. Came home and relaxed, when our friends showed up. We took them down to Nightcliff for Fish and chips, then a night tour of Darwin. Had a great time.

Headed down to Nightcliff to have fish and chips for tea and watch the sunset. Fish and chips were very nice. They have food vans that go to different spots. The sunset...stunning. Oh and these little green ants crawling along the fence.

Went to the Darwin caravan and camping show today. Quite small, but it was their first one. Some photos of Nightcliff.
