Is anyone heading out on their boat and willing to take a visitor out for a ski? She has grown up skiing and just wants to get out on the water whilst she is here (happy to chip in for time/fuel/lunch for the boat whatever)

Our next meeting is this Wednesday 26th at 5.30pm! We like to keep things casual, productive and (most importantly) quick — so you’ll still be home in time to put the kids to bed at 6.30pm!

Is there anywhere in Kununurra you’d rather be on a Sunday arvo? 🌅🌊

We’ve all started feeling that build-up already, and there’s nothing quite like jumping into the (still chilly) river to cool off, drink in hand, while a local artist plays as the sun goes down.

Two Sunset Sessions down and we’ve had an absolute ripper of a time. If you haven’t made it down yet, this is your last chance before the mango madness really kicks in and we all disappear inside for a bit! 🥭😂

So come down, have a dip (if you’re brave enough 🥶), grab a drink and enjoy one of the best parts of a Kununurra Sunday.

To all members,

Yesterday we had a private event hire at the club. Unfortunately, things don’t always go to plan, and the club has been left in a less-than-ideal state.

As many committee members as possible have been down to help clean up, and we’ve done our best to get everything back in order. However, there may still be some litter around the club.

There is currently a table left on the grass as there was smashed glass underneath it. While we have cleared what we could find, we cannot guarantee there isn’t still some glass in the surrounding area, so please take extra care if you’re down at the club this weekend.

It is absolutely disheartening for us to have to write this. Our committee puts a huge amount of volunteer time and effort into keeping this club running and making it a place that everyone can enjoy.

If you’re down at the club this weekend and happen to come across some rubbish, we’d really appreciate you helping our small volunteer-run club by simply throwing it in the bin rather than complaining about it on Facebook. Every little bit helps.

Again, we are genuinely sorry that this has happened and appreciate everyone’s understanding and patience while we get the club back to its best.

📢 ATTENTION ALL FOLLOWERS! 📢

Please be advised that the club will be CLOSED ALL DAY & EVENING THIS FRIDAY for a private event.

But don’t worry — we’ll be back open for all members for the weekend as normal, ready for you to make the most of your private section of the lake! 🌊☀️

Not a member yet? What are you waiting for?! 👀

You can sign up anytime! Our memberships run January–January, but if you sign up online, your membership discount for the remainder of the year will be automatically deducted — meaning there’s no reason not to get on board!

So grab your mates, escape the heat and enjoy your own little slice of paradise on the lake. 🍹🌴

Membership = private lake access + good vibes + the perfect way to survive Kununurra’s heat. 😎

If only every weekend could be like this! 🥂🎶🌅

Cold drink in hand, live music playing and a pretty impressive show from Brad from Beverley Ski Club Inc on the water! 🎿

We’ve said it before, but we cannot say it enough — a huge thank you to Brad, Adela and Zoe for coming up and running the ski lessons this weekend. Watching everyone get out there, learn new skills and have a crack was pretty special!

And a massive thank you to Ritchie for donating his boat and his time to make sure the lessons could happen. We genuinely couldn’t have done it without you.

To every other volunteer who came down to drive the boat, get waivers signed, help set up Sunset Session and keep everything ticking along — your efforts do not go unnoticed. ❤️

It’s weekends like this that remind us just how lucky we are to have such an incredible group of volunteers and members behind this club.

Without all of you, this weekend simply wouldn’t have been possible.
