For those that have been at the clubhouse on Saturday mornings over the last couple of months would of seen the Paddle Like A Champion program. This program is particularly aimed at younger members of surf clubs who want to learn to paddle properly !! Thankyou Louise for these photos.

New Fuel Storage
The club has a new fuel storage cabinet that is located on the back wall of the new shed. This purchase was possible via a Sunshine Coast Council Community Grant.

Time to renew those memberships !
As per last news letter:
Membership renewals and boat storage renewals for the coming financial year have begun. If you are renewing boat storage there was an issue where you could only pay for two. This has now been increased to five.

Paddle Australia and Paddle Queensland have both increased their fees this year. Despite rising costs, the club has decided to keep our portion of membership fees at the same level as last year.

To help make this sustainable, we ask members to please:

- Pay membership and storage fees promptly when due

- Ensure any guests using club boats pay the $15 per boat, per session guest fee

Guest fees can be paid:

- Via cash in the slot on the kitchen bench in the original clubhouse, or

- Directly into the club bank account. In reference include your name and x Guest where x is the number of club boats used.

The club bank details are displayed on the club noticeboard.

If members choose to ignore either of the above, it will inevitably result in the club needing to increase membership fees in future.

URGENT : 2026 School Marathon Champs - Lake Samsonvale

The School Marathon Champs are on Tuesday 16 June and the SCPSC will be attending. To assist the club in organizing boats, boat transport and crews for this regatta can we get confirmation from everyone who has entered. Where we can we will look to get everyone interested in both a K1 and K2 start.

Hi members - bag of lost property / hoodies and shirts.
Please have a look through and take items that belong to you. Unclaimed will be thrown away as Water Rats and Snakes will likely use as bedding material. Thanks your club cleaning team.

Be Careful At Clubhouse. Work is being carried out at the clubhouse by council. There are bits of wood and nails around the place. We have also been told that we need to put up slippery when wet signs in showers / toilets area.
