Whether your goal is to lose 5kg, or win a Grand Slam, the process is the same. Focus on the journey, focus on you and the things YOU can do each day to get you where you want to go. There are no quick fixes, it's no one else's responsibility. Let go of emotion, let go of blame, Show up every day and do the work.

Slowly getting strength back in my pull ups after having a shoulder injury for about 9 months. It's such a difficult exercise for many people to do and one I've always struggled to maintain. Just like a pot of boiling water, if I'm not constantly applying heat ( training) I lose form. Pull ups have always been a bit of a barometerforme as to how my training is going. If I feel good about them, I feel good about all of my training and feel inspired and motivated to work hard. Do you have a favourite exercise that makes you feel good, or tells you you're in track with your training?

TEAMWORK PT 2!
I did a post a few days ago about teamwork and working together to achieve a goal. This works both ways.. notice in this video how as soon a one person dropped, bam, everyone dropped.
The energy we put out in training is contagious.. it flows to everyone around us. If we come in with a never give up attitude, we will lift those around us and inpire them to do more, be more.
Some days we might feel flat and tired, on these day's we really rely on our team to carry us and lift us up, but we need to be willing and open to be carried, and on the days we feel good, we need to step up and be the support our team mates need. πŸ’•
Show up every day and get excited for the challenge on the board, show up and get excited about supporting your friends and helping to push each other to new heights πŸ’ͺπŸ’ͺ
P.s. No shade to these ladies.. they had worked really hard and this was the very end of a tough session where they did exactly what I've described above, constantly pushing and encouraging each other πŸ’•

This trend started by tik toker Mia Lind has become a staple in our household of late. My daughter who is studying 3rd year biomedical science full time first told me about it awhile ago and it's become a regular thing.
We all know the benefits of regular exercise, that walking can aid in cardiovascular fitness and bla bla bla πŸ₯± but the is about more than just weightloss or physical fitness, it's about taking that time for yourself, resetting your positive mindset, thinking about your goals and what you're grateful for and just generally feeling good about yourself.. And guess what.. you're all πŸ”₯ so grab your walking shoes and get outside and go for that walk πŸšΆβ€β™€οΈ

Teamwork makes the dream work! πŸ’œ
We had a partner workout today and everyone did so well!
I often hear people say they don't like partner workouts because they feel they will let their partner down. Teamwork doesn't work like this. A partner workout isn't competitive, it's not about who did the most reps or the fastest. It's about 2 people working as a team to achieve a common goal. We all have different strengths, what you may struggle with, your partner might to do well, and vice versa. Providing you come out of it knowing you did your best on that day, you haven't let anyone down.
I love to see these women lifting each other up, helping each other through, and achieving a goal together πŸ’ͺ❀
