👏 Congratulations to our very own Ruby O’Brien who has been selected in the 13 Girls 2026/27 LEAP Squad. This is an outstanding achievement. Ruby has earned her selection from her excellent performances at the State Little Athletics Championships.

➡️ LEAP is an exciting, invite only, athlete development program that is exclusive to a limited number of athletes. The aim of LEAP is to identify emerging athletes in each Little Athletics event and provide unique opportunities to assist in their athletics development and encourage further participation in the sport of Track and Field.

Congratulations to all athletes that have been selected for the LEAP Squad for 2026/27.

Invitations have now been sent to the athletes via email. If you have not received this email, please reach out to [email protected].

Entries close in 24 hours for the first round of the Hunter Winter Series.

This event is run by the FDAT committee. This committee is made up of representatives from Kotara South Athletics Club Wallsend Athletics Club Newcastle City Little Athletics ANLAC Newcastle Runners

The goal of our Winter Series events is to provide opportunities for our local athletes to compete over the winter season when they lose access to their club grass tracks.
