Sorry everyone for the late update. Unfortunately masons journey ended in round 2. It was a tight race and in so many cases would have won but masons opponent was that little bit better. It’s been a great couple of days with all 3 kids showing more and more confidence in the cars so really looking forward to seeing them and their battles in the near future.

Q3 is run and done. Mason is definitely feeling confident in his junior. He did a .004 light and run a 8.12 which has him running an 8.12, 8.08, 8.12

Sophia ran 8.10 with a .003 red singer 2 runs today were 8.10, 8.10.

Nathaniel had a bit of a s**t 3 qualifier where the car launched to the right and he fought to keep the car in the groove and saw him run a 9.66 with a .002 red light so they are all chasing good lights so he ran a 9.07, 9.05, 9.66 kids are all feeling good and are taking confidence going into eliminations tomorrow.

Q2 done. Sophia actually went down the track this time with a 8.10 with an 0.057 light so very happy. Mason went a tad early bringing up a red light but ran an 8.08 so he is also very happy.

Nathaniel went red on the tree but again ran a 9.05. Another 1/8 pb with a 5.62 which is what I ran 90% of the time so the car and him are gelling really well together.

Q1 The boys went great but sadly Sophia had a fuel leak and didn’t get the chance to run. Mason kept his confidence from Easter going with an .069 light with and 8.12. After scratching our heads and trying to find the issue with the dragster we fixed it and Nathaniel ran a pb for him to the 1/8th with a 5.68 he said he shifted late and his first proper 1/4 pass he ran 9.07 which 9.0 is what the car used to run for me so he is right there and when he gets the shift changes right he will definitely pb the car.

Well we are locked and loaded for our trip to Sydney for the Nitro Champs. Leaving very early so hope to be at the race track mid afternoon.

After a good Easter weekend we now move onto our next event which for us is the Nitro champs in Sydney on May 1-3.

We did originally want to attend the winter nationals but due to a few factors we have had to stop the plans for that.

We will be taking all 3 kids to Sydney which will mark Nathaniel’s first time attending WSID and Mason and Sophia’s second time after attending the nitros last year.

We are so thankful to the sponsors we have on board our family racing team in which some are really helping us out to get to Sydney but a couple more would really help us out with event licences, food and fuel etc. so if anyone reading this is able to help us out or know of someone we should speak to please let us know. It doesn’t have to be a high amount as anything given goes a long way.

RD3 done no finals today. Thank you to Chris Farrugia for the part to get Nathaniel down the track.
