Weekend Washup!

The Cougars are through to the LSWFL Grand Final after defeating Bridgetown last weekend in convincing fashion.

The Game started hot with Koji missing a couple early chances and Bridgy making the most of theirs with 2 goals. The Cougars then got on the board and started to get into their work.

The Second quarter saw a flurry of goals for the Cougars with Kyle Smith having 5 at the half and the Taylor boys putting on two each for the quarter to take a commanding half time lead.

The second half saw the Cougars continue on their way whilst playing some skilful and tough footy.

Off to the Grand Final next weekend in Pemberton! Let’s get behind our boys!!

The sun was out and defenders could have been excused for wishing they were at the beach in today's Tyrepower Manjimup League 2nd Semi Final.

33 goals were kicked in the game as Kojonup continued their undefeated season and in the process, booked a spot in the Grand Final. Bridgetown led at quarter time, but as the game wore on, the Cougars worked their way in front and piled on 7 goals in the final term. Kyle Smith returned to the action and was a constant threat up forward, with Jamie Marinoni even drifting up the ground from the backline and kicking a last quarter goal.

The Bulldogs now face Deanmill next week for the remaining spot in the decider at Pemberton on Saturday week.

It’s Finals Time!

The Cougars are off to Bridgetown to play for a spot in the Grand Final. Perfect conditions forecast in Bridgetown and we would love to see a huge contingent of Koji supporters.

Weekend Wash Up!! 💙🤍

That’s a wrap on the 2026 home and away season! Round 17 saw both Cougars sides finish the regular season on a high with two convincing wins over Boyup Brook.

Our Reserves finished their season in style, putting together a dominant performance to come away with a 16.13 (109) to 3.1 (19) victory. A great way to cap off the year for the Ressies after all the hard work they’ve put in throughout the season. 💙🤍

Our League side also put on a huge performance, running away with a 27.16 (178) to 7.5 (47) win. The boys now turn their attention to finals footy, with plenty still to play for over the coming weeks!

It was also a special day for Lachy “Paddy” as he celebrated his 100th game for the Cougars, and what a way to mark the milestone with a big win! Congratulations Paddy on a fantastic achievement. 💯👏🏼

A big congratulations also goes to Trav Abbott, who was awarded the Rocky Lucev Award following the League game. A well-deserved recognition after a great performance! 👏🏼

The celebrations continued after the final siren with our Godfathers Raffle, and it was great to see such a big crowd stick around and make a night of it. A huge thank you to everyone who came along and supported the night!

The home and away season might be done, but we’re not finished yet…

Weekend Wash Up!! 💙🤍

Better late than never!! 😅 A great result from Round 16, with the Cougars League side putting together a dominant performance against the Southerners.

The boys took control of the game and never looked back, running away with a convincing 14.16 (100) to 2.4 (16) win. A strong four-quarter effort and a great way to head towards the pointy end of the season! 💪🏼

It was also great to see Rog back out on the field and pulling on the Cougars jumper again! 💙🤍

Unfortunately, our Reserves didn’t get a run.

It’s a big day for the club, with Paddy lining up for his 100th game for the Cougars! A fantastic milestone and a great reason to get down and support the boys. 💯👏

A huge thank you to our incredible Kojonup Cougars community for getting behind our FightMND fundraiser on Sunday.

Through our wood raffle, meat raffle and the Big Freeze slide, together we raised an amazing $2,500 for FightMND! 👏

It was fantastic to see so many players, volunteers, sponsors and supporters getting involved for such an important cause. Every donation helps support vital research and brings us one step closer to finding a cure for Motor Neurone Disease.

A special thank you to everyone who donated, purchased raffle tickets, volunteered their time, and braved the icy slide for a great cause. Your generosity and community spirit continue to make our club proud.
