St George Swim Academy St George Swim provides dedicated learn to swim lessons in a purpose-built facility. We support small class numbers and a max. of two classes at any time.

St George Swim Academy provides dedicated learn to swim programs, for kids aged 6 months to 10 years, designed to ensure kids have fun while achieving the best outcomes. All classes are in a purpose-built indoor hydrotherapy pool with computerised temperature control – so the kids never get cold! The dedicated learn to swim pool, with a maximum of 2 classes running at the same time, creates the pe

rfect environment for young children to learn to swim without distraction. All learn to swim levels are catered for from babies and toddlers through to stroke correction for confident young swimmers. We believe it’s important that your kids have fun while they learn this vital life skill. St George Swim Academy is small and personalised and features friendly teachers who work to foster a love of the water.

Today we celebrate the women and girls who make waves, in and out of the water!
From the tiny swimmers learning their first bubbles, to the incredible women who teach, lead and support them, we’re proud to be part of a community where confidence grows one stroke at a time.
And for me, watching the next generation discover the water reminds me why this work matters so much.

This January marks 10 years since I took over what became St George Swim Academy.

What a journey it’s been — from tiny first kicks to confident, capable swimmers.

To every family who has trusted us, every child who has jumped in (sometimes nervously!), and every staff member who has been part of the journey — thank you.

Term 1 enrolments are now open at St George Swim Academy, where children learn in a calm, welcoming indoor pool with experienced instructors and a strong focus on confidence and water safety.

Afternoon classes available Monday to Friday.

The surf has been rough the last few days, with many beaches closed due to unsafe conditions. 110 people have been recovered from the water and provided with CPR since Christmas Day. A very timely reminder to pay close attention to the conditions at the beach and always supervise!
