We also understand that some of us just want to have fun... UNSWBSC has a proud tradition spanning more than 60 years. Everyone is welcome.

Founded in 1963, the UNSW Baseball Softball Club (UNSWBSC) has a proud tradition in both baseball and softball, with alumni of the club having represented at both state and national levels. We offer all genders opportunities to play baseball and softball in the toughest competitions in Sydney (the Sydney Winter Baseball League, Sydney Women’s Baseball League, Sydney Outfielders and Cronulla-Suther

land District Softball Associations). We also pride ourselves on the development of young talent. Current and former players have represented Australia at the Olympics, represented NSW and other States in the Australian Championships and played professionally in the United States. We also offer players an opportunity to compete at the Australian University Games if they are studying at UNSW. However, you do not need to be a student or ex-student of the university to play with UNSWBSC. Our club strives for performance off the field as well as on the field through numerous social events, including the season meet n greet, bowls day, trivia night and presentation evening. Wherever we are, UNSWBSC members can be spotted enjoying themselves throughout the season.

As usual we have the BBQ staples of bacon, egg and sausages as well as a few specials on the day like wedges with sour cream and sweet chili sauce or you can try the delicious meatball sub on offer as you take in the games.
