Sunday GT World Challenge Asia Round two, Sunday Race two another eventful race, Ben drove the wheels off the Porsche 992.2 and we seem to be getting the set up right Amac did his PB in the race last lap , typically … a win is a win in our class

Sunday 5th April, race 2, round 1 of GT World Challenge Asia 2026 race didn’t go as planned. Amac started and handed over to Jet Boy Porter, who closed the gap on 3rd in AM class, simply ran out of time/laps finishing 4th in class, adding to the championship points… much to learn in the new 992. Inch by inch progress onward to Mandalika for round 2 big team effort for this weekend, we are learning about the new weapon

A bit of fun feedback

So aircon in a race car! Apparently is the hardest aspect of engineering a race car after a few decades of multiple air con failures and so many attempts at so many various systems in so many cars ( expertly managed by team Amac) we finally have the latest and best current Porsche GT3 R and the crew inform us , after racing in a cabin temperature of about 55-60 C today with NO aircon or fan system
They have found the fault !l. Like the weekend of miracles !!

Have heard that a few dozen times
Let’s see tomorrow ( maybe it is too cold and the drivers get brain freeze )

Sepang race one of the GT World Challenge Asia 2026 . In extreme heat conditions, Ben started and brought The Stig in a perfect position for the ch age over , for Amac to finish , thru some difficult situations managing the pro drivers …we finished on the bottom step of the podium with a third…all good points and the team with Porsche assisting, we should improve with our set up.
