🏁Knox Track Update

Just a quick update for everyone booked or planning their trip to Vintage Bash 5.0.

The recent track works and scheduling matters have now been worked through, with a clear plan in place for the Knox track rebuild to continue during October and be completed ahead of the Bash.....do keep your eye out for further announcements as we will be requiring all hands on deck when the time comes.

Knox’s other major event, the Coleman Cup, has also been rescheduled to early December, allowing the track works to proceed through October.

So for everyone who has already booked accommodation, organised travel or is making plans to join us from interstate and overseas - VB5.0 remains firmly on track! 🙌

Good evening, Ladies and Gentlemen! This a special September Sabbatical bulletin. Out track rebuild is is full swing (not quite on schedule, hence the Sabbatical).
Important race dates:
Vintage Bash V: October 29 - November 1
Coleman Cup: December 5 - 6

There's a lot of work going on behind the scenes, many hours from a small team of volunteers.

One thing is for sure, the new layout will be Gourmet 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

Peter is the true cornerstone of Knox Radio Control Off Road Car Club.

As a founding member, he shaped the club’s history by mowing out the original track back in 1984.

Thanks to his vision and foundational hard work, the club has been racing at the same venue for an incredible 42 years.

Beyond creating the club, Peter has dedicated his life to sustaining it.

Now a Life Member and a trusted Club Treasurer, he continues to steer finances and preserve the Clubs legacy with the same passion he had on day one.

You've all heard about it - this is stage 1 of our long , long overdue track rebuild.

A monumentous effort this past weekend from Track Master Gino M , Pete Z, Prince Ushan, Snake Charmer Pat , Joaquim, Andrea, The Rizzalator Charlie as well as some cameo appearances from some other members have gotten us to this stage.

Weather permitting , we will begin stage 2 this coming weekend

OK. So BigG RiZz narrowly escaped a rate my wires exposé last week ⚡⚡⚡ It appears he's redeemed himself though. One would say his skills are in fact Gourmet 🧑‍🍳

This Sunday we will hold our 2026 AGM for the Club. More than welcome to attend and we look forward to getting some feddback and ideas to keep the club growing and developing. Please be aware there will be some contruction works going on so please consider where you park and walk. Any questions please speak to Neil Kovács.
