Knox Athletics Club Knox Athletics Club is based in the south eastern suburbs of Melbourne, offering coaches and training facilities to recreational and competitive athletes.

At Knox Athletics Club we provide a friendly and supportive environment for people of all ages and abilities to explore their fitness and improve their health. Whether interested in fun runs and general health and fitness (Associate Members) or wanting to develop your skill and explore your limits in a range of events on and off the track (Competitive Members), with us you'll be part of a fun community of like-minded interest, and have access to top-class facilities and coaching. KNOX ATHS: 'Keeping the fun in fitness, training, and results.'

We were saddened to hear of Margaret Toohey's passing this week. Margaret and Bill were very important parts of our club for so many years and members past and current pass their love and support to their family.
The following is a message from their daughter, Cathrine.

Former Knox Athletics club member and official Margaret Toohey passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday 5th August 2026.

A funeral service for Margaret Toohey will be held on Thursday 20th August 2026 at 10am at Heritage & Heritage, 733 Boronia Rd Wantirna.

This will be followed by gathering at Knox Park Athletics track, Bunjil Way, Knoxfield.

'Supermum' Brooke Buschkuehl (nee Stratton) on her Long Jump bronze was a long time club member from her junior and early senior days.

Abbey Caldwell trains at Knox with great support from our club members under the tutelage of Gav Burren.

Fantastic to see everyone's hard work paying off, you are both inspirations to those that look up to you.

We were saddened to hear last night of Jemma's sudden passing.

A familiar face training at Knox in recent times, Jemma ran for .little.aths before a senior hurdling career and then great success in professional sprinting.

Jemma's father, brothers and partner all ran for Knox. Only a few weeks ago she made arrangements to sprint and hurdle back at Knox, with a further desire to commence coaching in the future.

Her bright nature and smiling face will be missed by all who knew her. The club extends its condolences to Lisa, Darren, Trent, Joel and Tyler.

Congrats to Gav and the supporting squad members of Abbey. She's had a phenomenal last week of racing in China. Her recent speed work has been paying off.
