The Softball Alumni Dinner is bringing together the people who have shaped our sport across generations.

Celebrating 30 years since softball's Olympic debut in 1996, the evening will recognise players, coaches, umpires, volunteers, administrators and supporters from all eras of softball.

Special guest speaker Sarah Loh from Softball Australia.

🏅 Queensland U18 School Boys Strike Gold! 🏅

The Queensland U18 School Boys team completed the tournament undefeated, claiming the Gold Medal with a convincing 5–1 victory over NSW in the final.

A special congratulations to Redcliffe representative Cooper who was selected in the **All Australian Merit Team** as a pitcher after an outstanding tournament, finishing with a remarkable 0.00 ERA. 💪

Cooper was one of nine Queensland players honoured with selection in the All Australian Merit Team, highlighting the strength and talent of the Queensland squad.

Congratulations to Cooper and the entire Queensland team on an exceptional achievement! 👏🥎

The 2027 Softball World Cup is getting bigger with the recent announcement by Softball Australia that the WBSC Women’s Softball World Cup Finals 2027 will be held at Kayo Stadium with Redcliffe Leagues Softball Association named as the official training and warm up fields for the tournament.

While we know this is not what was expected, this remains a huge moment for the Association, members, volunteers and the sport of softball with Kayo Stadium providing seating for 10,000 spectators with stadium capabilities. This means that so many more people will have the chance to be part of the atmosphere, support the teams, and experience the world class softball facilities right here in Redcliffe.

Naming Redcliffe Leagues Softball Association as the official training and warm up venue means that our members will be able to see the top women's softball teams in the world as they train and scrimmage during their preparation for games, keeping Redcliffe at the centre of the World Cup and continuing to play a major role in the lead-up to and during the event.

This is an incredible opportunity to showcase our sport, our association, and our community on the world stage.

April 2027 is going to be massive.

No one has ever accused me of being quick - around the bases OR posting on Facebook!

The Under 16 boys and girls competed last weekend at the State Championships in Ipswich. Both teams battled hard with some wins and some loses with both teams making the presidents cup and the boys bringing it home!
