Despite the challenges posed by winter, 16 brave bowlers participated in a social game this afternoon demonstrating their enthusiasm for the sport. They played three bowl pairs, successfully completing two games of ten ends. It just goes to show how tough they were despite the cold and some rain drops.
Winning on 54 points were Colin Bobridge and Bill Armfield. 👏👏

The greens were underwater at 11:30 am, but 13 members decided they were dry enough to play a game of bowls at 1 pm, adopting a modified version for the game. According to the rules of the afternoon, the Jack was to be played where it came to rest.
Michael Rivett, Geoff Beames, and Garry Daniell won the game with a whopping score of 55 points. Well done. 👏👏👏

Between the downpours today, 14 players made the best of conditions best suited to ducks. Congratulations to everyone for sticking it out. Runners up were Urai and Ron, and our winners were Mike R and Andy. 🦆

In spite of the cloudy, cold weather, 27 bowlers and 2 visitors, (Peter and Judith Fasoli from Portland, Victoria), participated in triples and fours at social bowls today. The temperature dropped as the afternoon wore on, necessitating the use of beanies and layered clothing. Fortunately, the chilly conditions did not dampen the spirits of the players, who persevered despite the cold.
The team consisting of Michael Rivett, Garry Daniell, Robert Helps, and Derek Trott emerged victorious with 55 points, while Colin Bobridge, Steph Capper, Geoff Beames, and Jenny Thompson secured 52 points as runners-up. Well done to the winners.

Twenty five members and visitors enjoyed 2 games of triples this afternoon. There were a few whoops moments with bowls struggling to kiss the jack, but overall not a bad afternoon.
The winners on 54 points were Brentyn Koch, Jenny Robertson and Keith Jarrad.
Runners up on 53 points were Rodney Willmott, Peter Wakefield and Bruce Hanton.
