Thank you to those members who came along to our AGM in May - it was well attended and we are pleased to have been able to fill all the roles with a great crew of committee volunteers! πŸ§‘β€πŸ’Ό

We're getting in early this year to announce a few key dates prior to finalising our full season's program. Mainly:

πŸ“… Season Opening Day - Saturday 10th October 2026
πŸ’” Final Season Sail Day - Saturday 13th March 2027

We'll be in touch soon with some more important information, including our allocated Crown Inn Friday Night Draw fundraising dates (make sure you don't miss this as we'd love to get as many members & families as we can on board again), details of our 'Sponsor Search', and of course the full sailing program.

Stay tuned!

Mates On A Mission is coming to Kingston πŸ’™

πŸ—“οΈ Tuesday, 9 June 2026
⏰ 6pm for 7:30 start
πŸ’΅ FREE community event
🍽️ Meals (burgers) available to purchase from 6pm

Mike Rolls and Ben Pettingill are two down to earth mates on a mission and Ski for Life are bringing them to town. Ski For Life is a charity committed to promoting mental health, wellbeing and su***de prevention in rural and regional Australian communities.

The Mates On A Mission program is an exciting initiative designed to make a positive impact on the entire community. Mike & Ben are affectionately known as Legless & Blind, with Mike losing both of his legs due to a deadly disease at age 18 and Ben losing 98% of his eyesight overnight due to a rare genetic syndrome at age 16. Simply put, they both know first hand what it is like to be faced with tough times and battle mental health.

Community sessions are relatable and a great reason to come together, and connect as a community. They involve plenty of Legless & Blind storytelling and trademark humour along with a heap of practical tools that we can all take away to help look after ourselves and each other when it comes to getting through tough times.

Just in case you missed it, we’re back at the pub again tonight!

We promise we’ll try to spread out our fundraisers a bit more going forward πŸ˜†

We're back for round 2! 🎫

That's right, we're going again! Based off last week's sucess at the Crown Inn Kingston's Friday Night Draw, Tom has asked us to come back on Friday 13th and sell raffle tickets again.

There is certainly no expectation that the same number of our members will come along again, however if you are around and would either like to join our table or help with selling tickets we'd love to see you there!

If you'd like to join our table for dinner, please contact Josh on 0427 837 636 and he can add you to the numbers 😊
