We'd like to thank UNSW Car Society for hosting their event earlier this weekend on Sunday! We had a blast riding through the canyons with the lads. We got to the final lookout a bit later than expected, had to get a quick KFC zinger box in the system after the pouring rain. And thanks to everyone who showed up to our event.

For everyone who missed out, stay tuned on the page as we piggyback everyone. Don't be shy and send us UNSWMC a text on what you ride and what you hope this club could bring. 50% of events come from demand, 50% from us piggybacking CarSoc.

Hey everyone, we wanted to get a general idea of how many people would be interested in a more adventure/off-road style ride. Leave a like if you’d be interested and comment your bike so we can get an idea of what type of trip to plan for. Leave any questions in the comments and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible!

Unfortunately we did not have enough interest and time to host the track day on flex week. We hope to have a track day sometime in november instead for all those who were interested. Keep posted. Rides will be coming up on flex week for those looking to carve corners in public.

Nobody will call you out for not riding in the rain. If it starts raining when you're on the bike, a few tips to keep upright on the road!

1. Stay relaxed and keep a larger gap between yourself and traffic for extra time to react to hazards. Heavy rain will decrease visibility drastically. If you can't see, drivers definitely can't see you.

2. Painted lines and manhole covers are finna be slippy as, make sure to avoid them in the middle of a corner. If you're forced to ride over one, stay calm, no sudden movements. Motorcycle tires have more traction in the rain than you think! The only factor making them slip is shaky input from the rider. Stay calm and approach corners gently and steadily.

NEVER USE YOUR REAR BRAKE IN A CORNER.

3. Leave extra braking room and be smooth on the front brakes to avoid a lock-up. Use your rear brake more when braking in a straight line to reduce the chances of a front brake lock-up. If your rear brake locks up, stay calm, and let go of the rear brake to regain control and continue coming to a stop. Your right leg will be your abs.

NEVER USE YOUR REAR BRAKE IN A CORNER.

Share your tips in the comments for riding in the rain! If it storms, maybe it would be safer to pull over and wait for it to calm down. Imagine sending your bike into the gutter while u slide into the middle of an intersection and everyone's brakes lock up and you get a ticket to juicewrlds concert. Stay safe, an event will be set up soon!

We're getting serious lads!

Sydney Motorsport Park Ride Day interest. We've been collecting track day interests since the start of the club and we believe we have enough interested members to push forward with an event!

We're hoping to book and plan a track day for any students keen on the track within flex week (week 6). The event will happen between 17th - 23rd Oct. We're hoping to place a special price for members for the track and leathers hiring for members without their own leathers. We're aiming for Gardner GP or Brabham circuit (different configurations of Sydney Motorsport Park).

What you will require for the track:

Equipment: Full leathers (one-piece or two-piece), leather gloves which cover over leathers, leather boots. All equipment can be hired on track but we recommend a good pair of gloves and boots for daily riding. Leathers will be around 90 dollars (unconfirmed)
+
Motorcycle (no fluid leaks, good tires, acceptable brakes)
+
The price is yet to be confirmed but will be around the 270AUD mark (a high estimate, unconfirmed yet)

To register your interest, fill out the form below:

We're planning to book by next week. We require around 25 members to be genuinely interested. Everyone will be approached individually after the form is completed. A rough estimate of members is required before the event can be confirmed. Hope to see you all there!

Any further questions can be asked directly to the page. Come say hi on our city ride on Thursday!

Great to hear from all the students interested with motorcycles. Appreciate those who brought their own bikes for display and allowing interested students to test sit on a real motorcycle.

We will be announcing the next ride by this week on this page! Remember to like and join our group to stay updated. Activities will be announced on this site. Everyone is encouraged to message the club or president (Cassius) for further questions regarding bikes, licensing and other related items.

We're here till 4, come say hi!
