A Little About Dylan, our new Club manager 💪💪💪

I’m proud to call Kangaroo Island home with my wonderful family. My wife is a dedicated registered nurse here on the island, and together we’re raising two active kids. Our 12-year-old daughter is passionate about calisthenics and has recently joined the netball team for the Hounds. Our 11-year-old son is footy-obsessed, proudly playing for the Hounds, and also loves boxing. Il be working closely alongside Ken, to make sure we provide the best possible service to you, our legendary members 💪💪

My Training Background

I’m a fully qualified level 4 master trainer, I also hold additional certification in Olympic lifting, with a strong focus on the fundamental strength movements: deadlifts, squats, bench press, and shoulder press. These lifts form the foundation of my training philosophy, and I’m always striving to improve my own performance while helping others do the same.

Why I Love What I Do
One of the most rewarding aspects of working in the fitness industry is witnessing the incredible personal growth in clients, not just physically, but mentally as well. Seeing people gain confidence, resilience, and a sense of achievement is what truly drives my passion.

I’m looking forward to meeting you all and helping make Island Fitness a positive, motivating hub for our community.

If you train here, you already know the elite standard he sets. Dylan isn’t just a fully qualified Olympic Weightlifting Coach—he is the driving force behind the incredible culture on our gym floor.

From taking our new members through their initial inductions so they start their fitness journey safely and confidently, to providing that relentless motivation when you feel like quitting, his dedication to our community is absolutely unmatched. He has treated this gym like his own from day one, and his leadership speaks for itself.

Having Dylan officially step into this management role ensures our facility runs at an elite level every single day.

With Dylan leading the daily operations and setting the gold standard for the team, it allows us to focus heavily behind the scenes on upgrading the facility, bringing in brand-new equipment, and mapping out the next massive phase of the club's future.

We couldn't be prouder to lock him in for the long haul, securing a rock-solid future for him, Che, Ryder and Dakota right here on the island.

As many rounds as possible in 20 Minutes

5 x Pull ups
10x Push ups
15x BW squats

Repeat as many times as possible in 20 minutes. Document rounds on our chalkboard.
