A Big Osu and congratulations to the students who competed in the MKA National Kyokushin Championships last weekend in Sydney.

We are proud of all of you for stepping onto the mat regardless of the outcome.

Ilithyia fought very well and probably one of her best efforts so far but unfortunately didnt progress in a massive non contact and heavyweight padded contact division in the 10-12 year old. Did all this while her knee was stitched up after a small accident the week before.

David Goble Open veterans division. One of his best efforts also but unfortunately didnt progress through the rounds.

Caspian 2nd place non contact male 5-6 year old

Octavia 3rd place non contact female 8-9 year old
3rd place middleweight padded contact female 8-9 year old

Niobe 3rd place middleweight padded contact 10-12 year old

Senpai David 1st place Male Open non contact division

Its been a massive year of tournaments so far this year with some events still on the radar.

Keep up the great work. You have done yourselves and your dojo proud!

Osu, Finally home and have had time to reflect on the weekend just gone.

Congratulations to all competitors at the 49th Victorian Kyokushin Karate Championships.

A massive congratulations to my students who took to the mat again or for the first time. Im super proud of each and everyone one of you for stepping up and having a go no matter the outcome.

Outstanding results from our little dojo again with multiple students placing on the podium. I have had some awesome feedback from lots of different people throughout the organisation.

Kangaroo Island dojo took 9 competitors away this time which is the most we have ever had with a crew of 16 total from KI. Outstanding achievement.

I am looking forward to the year ahead with out sights set on the NSW state titles on 4 weeks.

Finally home and had time to reflect on a massive weekend had at the MKA National Championships in Sydney. This tournament was one of the biggest to date with approximately 300 competitors between all divisions.

Kangaroo Island Dojo took a small cohort of students to compete in both Non Contact and full contact divisions.

Congratulations to all fighters for stepping onto the mat no matter the result.
