Congratulations to Sonny Whiting on a brilliant 8-under-par 64. Outstanding golf.

A masterclass in craftsmanship from Sonny Whiting yesterday!

The local builder put together a quality scorecard, making 9 birdies and just 1 bogey on his way to a superb 8-under-par round.

When you're used to working with precision, it clearly carries over to the golf course as well!

🏆 Congratulations to Our Northern Team Representatives! 🏆

A huge congratulations to our members Lorissa, Pip, Anna, Maree and Team Manager Jenny on being part of the Northern Team that claimed victory in the North vs South Plate at Mowbray today. What a fantastic achievement and a great result for the North!

An extra special congratulations to Lorissa on an outstanding performance, taking home both the Tammy Hall Trophy and the Lindy Goggin Trophy. A remarkable effort and a well-deserved reward for some excellent golf. 👏🏌️‍♀️

Congratulations also to Kirri Piper on a fantastic tournament, finishing runner-up in both trophies. A wonderful achievement and another great representation of our club.

Huge congratulations to Lorissa Dobson on taking out the Women's Tasmanian Open, an outstanding achievement and a fantastic result for Lorissa and the club! 💪

Big shout out also to Mitch Van Noord, who won the Amateur Division after leading the event following Round 2 - a massive effort under pressure and a well deserved win! 👍

Congratulations to Cameron Burt (Vic) on winning the Men's Inclusive Championship, and Kathleen Tanner (Tas) who claimed the Women's Inclusive Division - fantastic performance all round!

A sincere thank you to our incredible ground staff, led by Mack Blazely, along with his team of committed volunteers. The presentation of the course was outstanding and played a big part in the success of the event.

A special mention to our event sponsors and Andrew Frost for giving up his time to coordinate our volunteers across the event - a huge contribution behind the scenes.

🏆 What an incredible weekend it was at the 2026 Launceston Golf Club Easter Tournament! 🏆

A huge congratulations to all of our winners and competitors who made this year’s event such a fantastic success.

But the biggest story of the weekend belongs to Skye Munoz… who, on her 9th birthday, took out the Major Prize, Overall Best Nett and won an Australian Open trip for two!! 🎉✈️⛳

What an unbelievable way to celebrate your birthday Skye, a moment that will be remembered at Launceston Golf Club for many years to come. Congratulations on an amazing achievement!
