BIKE BAG LOAN - we have a club member in need of a through-axle bike bag to enable them to travel to the Balmoral Junior Tour in Brisbane next weekend.

Is there anyone in our community that could help out Sunny McKeon with a bike bag loan for the weekend?

I reckon there might be chocolates or wine on offer. 🫶

Please comment or send us a DM if you might be able to help. Thanks.

Congratulations to Georgia Baker and Fliss Wilson-Haffenden on your Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games Australian team selection.

The Tassie cycling community will be cheering for you guys. Such talented cyclists and amazing role models.
💚💛

Two Tasmanian cyclists have been selected to represent Australia at the upcoming Commonwealth Games in Glasgow 💪🚲

Georgia Baker, who won three gold medals at Birmingham 2022, will return to the Australian team.

Rising star Felicity Haffenden-Wilson has been named for her debut.

“Every time you pull on the green and gold, it’s really special, and to return with this group of riders is incredibly exciting,” Baker said.

“Birmingham was an unforgettable experience for me, but this team is focused on building on that success and continuing to raise the standard for Australian track cycling.”

CLUB ESPORTS SERIES… starts this Tuesday night 9 June.

LCCC is so proud to have AusCycling National Champs and Podium level riders (well done Josh, Marc and Kate!) and a bunch of club riders who rep for us in these club events.

MyWhoosh is free to use and the racing is uncomplicated and as hard or fun as you want to make it.

Let us know if you will be joining us for this series. 👍

CRESSY SERIES - Round 2 Race Wrap

Nic Cripps claimed the Handicap victory. Nic produced a perfectly timed ride to take out today’s Cressy Series sponsored by Ringwood Hotel Cressy road race number 2 handicap in a lightning fast finish.

With A to D grades separated by five-minute handicap intervals it was in the last lap that the grades started to come together. The A Grade riders worked solidly to catch the grades. Caleb Mackenzie finished strongly in the bunch sprint to the line taking out the Fastest Time of the day and an impressive finish for Amalia Langham from C Grade to cross the line in the sprint finish in 4th Overall and Fastest Female.

E Grade riders were chasing a 7 minute gap to F grade in their own handicap and although E Grade had the numbers, it was the experience of Tim Burford and Patrick Oldham who led our U15 rider Oscar Digney through to the win.

Well done and thanks to all the riders joining us from all clubs around the state. 🥳

Thanks also again to the Ringwood Hotel at Cressy for their great hospitality and support for our club.

Special thanks to the officials and volunteers.

Our Handicap podiums:
A-D Grade Handicap
1st Nic Cripps
2nd Angus Paynter
3rd Jordan Enright

E/F Grade Handicap
1st Oscar Digney
2nd Patrick Oldham
3rd Peter Dadson
