What a game! What a finish ❤️

After a hard-fought contest, the scores were locked at 2️⃣-2️⃣ at full time, sending the 2026 President's Cup to a penalty shootout.

⚽️ Barambah goals: E. Sippel x1, K. Rattey x1
⚽️ Wests goals: C. Kelly x1, S. Zischke x1

The tension was sky-high as both teams battled for the trophy, with Wests showing incredible determination to come from behind and level the scores late in the match.

🏆 Penalty Shootout:
Kingaroy Wests 3️⃣-2️⃣ Barambah
✅ Barambah: O. Coulson, E. Sippel
✅ Wests: C. Kelly, R. Murray, A. Logan

🧤 Special mention to both goalkeepers, who were outstanding throughout the match and in the penalty shootout. They faced determined opposition all night and came up with some crucial saves when their teams needed them most. An incredible effort from both keepers under pressure.

In the end, it was Kingaroy Wests who held their nerve, showing tremendous heart, resilience and composure to claim the 2026 President's Cup and earn their place on the trophy once again! ❤️🖤

Congratulations to all players from both teams for an entertaining and fiercely contested match, and thank you to the referees, volunteers and supporters who helped make the night such a success.

Another fantastic night of Walking Football this week, filled with plenty of fun, laughter, and great football!

We'd like to recognise the outstanding skill, sportsmanship, and positive attitude shown by all the ladies and gentlemen who take part each week. You are what makes Walking Football such a success ❤️

A special highlight from last night was seeing Mick share the field with his son Brett. Moments like these are the magic of Walking Football and a reminder that football truly is for everyone.

💙⚽ MEN'S HEALTH WEEK ⚽💙

In recognition of Men’s Health Week, we’ve shared a reel below featuring some of our Kingaroy Senior Soccer Club men's players!

Men’s Health Week is a great reminder of the importance of looking after both your physical and mental wellbeing, staying connected with mates, and reaching out for support when needed.

At KSSC, there are plenty of ways to get involved, no matter your age, experience or fitness level. You can:
🚶 Join our Walking Football sessions on Tuesday nights
⚽ Train with our men's teams on Wednesday nights
🏆 Play competitively on weekends with our men's teams
👏 Support our men's and women's teams from the sidelines
🙋 Volunteer and help make our club and game days possible

Football is more than just a game – it's fitness, friendship, community and connection.

🔴⚫ Reminder: Men's training starts at 5:30pm tonight at KSSC. We look forward to seeing all players there!
