Sunday 20 September- Ari will be giving a lesson to the juniors. 9am- 9 hole players, and experienced 5 hole players. 10am - 3 hole players, newer 5 hole players. 11am Girls Scholarship Program. Hope we get a good number of juniors taking the opportunity of excellent coaching, fully funded by SBG Golf.

Girls Scholarship Tuesday afternoon practice starts 4pm this week. Meet on front practice putting green.

A really great morning with the juniors.
8 of our younger players stayed on the range and practised their putting and long shots.
12 juniors played 5 holes. The winner was Reed with nett 12, tied runners-up were Cooper and Ethan on 13. 7 of the 5 hole players broke their handicaps today- well done.
Cooper C won the 9 hole comp with a 27 nett, with Abby the runner-up.
Thank you parents and family members for all your assistance today. With a number of program deliverers out of action, your help was invaluable.

Golf Australia has offered to run a Community Instructor Practical Course at Kingaroy GC. This is in the planning stages as yet, but please have a think about whether you might like to attend, and what day would suit you best (I am thinking a Saturday or Sunday). Specific golf skills are not necessary, and it would be a great help with our junior program to have more qualified helpers. I will give some further information on Saturday morning at juniors.

There was some fine junior golf played yesterday. The 9 hole winner was Clancy, with a nett 25, closely followed by Cooper, nett 29. We had 11 players in the 5 hole group. The winner was Bella with a nett 17. Banjo won the 3 hole competition, nett 8. Good hitting, juniors. Big thanks to our helpers.
