Saturday night saw us head up to McCosker Gladstone speedway for the final night of the season. 2 2nds and a heat win had Baxter start the feature out of 2 and bought it home in 3rd after another epic battle with his mate Lincoln. Congrats to Lawson on the win and Lincoln in 2nd. This was enough to secure the B&K bulk haulage junior sedan series for the Gladstone season. Thanks to B&K for supporting the juniors.This also brings our season to a close. We’ve had a great year travelling up and down the coast and met some awesome people and made plenty of new friends. Baxter had a very successful year with multiple feature wins and podiums as well as 5th in the qld title and 4th at the nsw title. We will have a break,tune it up and be back in a couple of months. As always thanks to everyone who travels to support Baxter’s racing or watches at home and to those who contribute to our racing.

Saturday night we were at Maryborough speedway for the last meeting of their season. The juniors turned it on and kept everyone entertained with some pretty big moments on a very challenging track surface. Baxter was able to get the win after a ripper battle with his good mate Lincoln. Congrats also to Ethan in 3rd place. Results for the night.

As always thanks to everyone who contributes to our racing and those who make the effort to come along or tune into clay per view. Special mention to cousin AJ who debuted in production sedans and when things hadn’t gone his way was first to lend a hand on BB79. Looking forward to Carina this weekend for the season finale. On the weekend we made the trek down to Narrabri to contest the nsw junior sedan title. We were missing a couple of vital team members but made the most of a boys only trip with plenty of laughs. We started off the day a bit rough after waking to find Baxter’s bike had been “borrowed” from the back of the Ute. Things improved when we got to the track and got the win in heat 1. Heat 2 things went downhill and the mirage got a ride on the hook after a turn 1 pile up. Heat 3 wasn’t much better with a front shock failing after just being replaced. Feature saw Baxter start p9 and finish in 5th after a ripper battle with Lincoln and Jake which saw them race close,hard and fair for a big portion of the race. We were elevated to 4th place after post race checks. Congrats to Lawson, Jake and Lincoln on their podiums and Riley in 5th. Big thanks to the Willis family for pitching in with parts and lending a hand when we were fixing the car.(Also for the steak burgers for lunch that kept us going for a long night ahead) special mention to Matt Burke who went out of his way to help get our car back on track. It really is good to be surrounded by such a great bunch of families willing to lend a hand when we are all competing for the same trophy. Lastly thanks to everyone back home who stayed up late to watch the livestream or checked in on the phone.

Saturday night we saw the running of the Queensland Junior Sedan title. All the drivers stepped up the racing from the Friday night. New track record was even set by Lawson Clarke at 17.4 Seconds. With hardly any incidents and majority of the racing to be clean it all came down to the feature. Lawson led for 24 laps when a caution happened. On the restart a battle was on between Lawson and Cruz Carlin and it came down to the last corner where Cruz got Lawson just before the chequered flat, with a difference of 0.061 seconds. Congrats to the top 5 - 1st Cruz Carlin, 2nd Lawson Clarke, 3rd Lachie Burke, 4th Jake Synnott and 5th Baxter Attard. Thanks to all for making the trek up to Cairns Speeday
