The Barron Racing Team unfortunately won’t be attending the Production Australian National Title in Wangaratta this weekend.
This wasn’t an easy decision. We had plenty of discussions trying to make it work, but with the current fuel prices, we just couldn’t justify the trip with two cars. Like many of you, we’re feeling the pinch, and it’s not an easy call for any of us.
To add to that, we also ran into some engine issues at the Kingaroy meeting last weekend, so Tonka will be sitting this one out.
But don’t worry — we’re already looking ahead! Goulburn next year is locked in, and we’ll be doing everything we can to get there 💪
In the meantime, you’ll still see us trackside! With Tonka in the naughty corner:
• Sheree will be racing the Production Sedan (the beautiful orange car) at the Kingaroy Show
• Brett will be racing the Modified Sedan in Wh**ey, after a rollover at the Modified Australian Title at Toowoomba Speedway put the black car out of action
That’s racing — but we’re heading into the show with our heads held high and ready to give it a red-hot go!
