Update on court resurfacing

The contractor resurfacing the courts had an opening and we can move the works forward by one week. The courts will now be closed from Tuesday 1. September until Monday 14. September. We will re-open them sooner if possible.

Pickle ball is coming to Kin Kin!!!

We are pleased to announce that we have secured a grant for complete resurfacing of both tennis courts. The back court will also include lines for two pickle ball courts.

We have had lots of requests from fellow community members to include pickle ball in the clubs offering and we have decided to have the back court as a dual purpose tennis/ pickle ball court.

The resurfacing works will commence on Monday the 7. September and the courts will be unavailable for about 2 weeks. The time has already been blocked out of the booking calendar so on-line bookings won't be possible during this time. If we can re-open earlier we will.

2025 memberships have expired at the end of February.
New 2026 memberships are now available for purchase on our website. We have increased the price for Family and Adult memberships by $5
the new prices are:
Family: $100
Adult: $60
Child: $20.

Now is the best time to get your membership. They are fixed date memberships and valid between the 1. March 2026 and the 28. February 2027.

Courts are looking great. Professionally cleaned with new net posts and nets. Just need this rain to stop now so we can actually play on them.

We are getting rid of our fridge. It works fine, just has a leaking freezer seal so keeps icing up. If anyone is interested feel free to pick it up from in front of the club shed.

We are also in the process of organizing a revamp of the courts. Courts will be cleaned and net posts and nets replaced. I will keep everyone posted on when this will be happening.

2024/25 club memberships are now available. Now is the best time to renew as these are fixed term memberships, starting from 1.March 2024 until 28. February 2025, irrespective of when you actually join.

Because of the on-going issues with the tennis court smart lock we have replaced it with a new and improved version. The company which makes this lock has acknowledged that the on-going issues with the water ingress are a design flaw and have come up with a new heavy duty design. We organized this replacement and it was installed this morning
The new lock works the same way and the court booking system is also the same. So anyone who wants to play tennis needs to book the court on the website and use the provided one off pin code to gain access to the courts. Non-members can do this for a $10 fee. For members this service is free.
