Bring your enthusiasm, a few basic tools if you have them, and we’ll supply the good company. Let’s tidy up, have a laugh, and keep our club looking great.

Fantastic weather for the 30 competitors at yesterdays EP Golf Mens and Mixed Foursomes in Kimba.

Mens Gross Winners were Matt Hind and Kyle Feltus with 76, from Runners up Clint Powell & Phil Klingberg with 77
Mens Nett Winners were Neville Buchanan & Benjamin Clifford nett 68.5 from Michael Seal and Richie Clements nett 73.5

Mixed Gross Winners were John & Ann Schaefer with 82, winning the 1st playoff hole from Runners up Zane Stutley and Vicki Klingberg, also with 82
Mixed Nett winners were Mick and Brenda Heath with nett 77.5, from Runners up Clint & Tracy Maitland 78.5

Kimba Golf Club Championships have been run and won after yesterday’s final round, in some of the best weather weve seen for the year.
In the A Grade, the final grouping of Zane Stutley 158, Shannon Larwood and Clint Powell 159 was going to be a great tussle with only one shot between them after the first two rounds. Competition was tight with still only one shot between the three after 13 holes. Powell pulled a couple of shots away over the next few holes, although tried to give them back on the 16th. Powell held his nerve to finish 4 shots ahead of Larwood and 7 ahead of Stutley.

B Grade had the final grouping of Trevor Rodda 181, 8 shots clear of Troy Maitland 189 and Neville Buchanan 197 a further 8 shots back. Buchanan was making a charge and had pulled 9 shots back on Rodda on the front 9, but things came unstuck on the 16th when ‘Legs’ Buchanan foun the bee hive and some tree trouble around the black. Rodda finished the day 6 shots clear of runner up Maitland and 11 clear of Buchanan
