Mountain District Badminton Association Inc MDBA offers every member of your family the opportunity to play badminton whether young, old, male or female from the age of 8 to 80 plus. New members welcome!!

People who play, or have played Badminton, or would like to play badminton or just want to follow us at Kilsyth! Badminton is a game that can be played at your own pace; you can play for fitness as a social player or you can increase the pace and play competition representing your club, association or State. At Kilsyth we offer:

COMPETITION
1. Mixed Doubles:
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday night - 7:30pm start. This is a club based competition, where players join a club and the teams are then graded by the MDBA Grading Committee. This competition caters for all levels of badminton. We also offer a Pool Player sytem for this class of competition. Contact: Glenda Mitchell 0429820000

2. Singles:

3. Veterans:
35+ - Monday nights - 7:30pm start. Teams of Mixed 4's graded competition

4. Ladies Daytime:

5. Juniors:
Friday nights - 7:00pm start. For ages 8-18, covers all levels. Contact: Administrator

SOCIAL
1. Ladies Social:
Mondays 10am - 12.00am
Caters for all levels, and for those who are unable to play competition. No need to book - just turn up.

2. Wednesday night Social
7.30-10.00 pm

3. Junior Sunday Coaching:

Last night saw the finals of Monday night Veterans competition. The games were great and match was won by the Eagles.
Dennis Riseborough was presented with the Sportsperson Award which was most deserving
Supper was enjoyed by all who attended.

Autumn season has nearly come to an end. Finals have started in all groups and most Sections.
Spring season will start July. Any past players looking for a team or having their name placed on the Emergency list please contact us. We are always looking for players. Season runs for 15 rounds.

Monday night Veterans tournament has one last week of competition this Monday before the finals start. Good luck to all.
Mid week mixed doubles teams have a few more rounds before their finals will be underway. Our Ladies Association are also heading toward the end of season. Registration is open for anyone interested in playing next season. Section 1 Monday morning Section 2&3 Tuesday morning. Contact the Association for any information

Mountain District Badminton Assiciation will have their Monday Veterans competition run tonight. Social Wednesday night 8-10pm and our midweek competition will recommence next week when schools go back.
