Eastern Ranges inspiration Lachie Healey had a great experience courtesy of Ollie Greeves and the Hawthorn Football Club
Lachie has had a huge challenge on his hands this year, bravely battling Hodgkins Lymphoma and working his way through chemotherapy. He has been incredibly stoic in his approach to this adversity and is now on the comeback to regaining his full strength and fitness. Lachie is a great example of resilience, continuing to bounce back after this setback. Considering he has also had a full knee reconstruction, further underpins his mental toughness.
As a surprise, Lachie was treated to a personalised tour of the Kennedy Centre along with being presented a fully signed Hawthorn guernsey. This was all facilitated through the incredibly kind support of former Ranges captain and now Hawthorn footballer, Ollie Greeves. We are all so grateful for your generosity Ollie.
