4 photos, 2 very different bats !
The first is your standard Populus willow indoor bat which is known for its light weight and performance.
As you can see in the first 2 pics, the spine is roughly 55mm and the edge at its peak is around 40mm.
This is pretty common in a full profile high quality indoor bats, and this one weighs 2 pounds 1.4 ounces, or 949 grams.
The other 2 photos are of a sample that has been sent to us.
This is made from Albizia which is used to make “tape ball” cricket bats.
As the pics show, the edges on this BEAST are almost 54mm, and the spine comes in at roughly 69mm.
This thing is absolutely MASSIVE, and brace yourself for this…..
It weighs in at 1 pound, 12.4 ounces, or just 807 grams 😳
NOTE - this is not for sale.
We have to test this and make sure it stands up, but we will keep everyone updated.
