Club Update – Killarney Cutters

We regret to inform our supporters, and the wider community that the Killarney Cutters will not be returning to competition in the 2026 season.
Unfortunately, the current TRL/BRL competition rules around dual registration, combined with a lack of interest in filling essential committee positions, have made it impossible for the club to start operating in a sustainable way.

The TRL advised that to consider being allowed back into the BRL competition we would need in excess of 20 brand new players so that we are not weakening any other team or competition.

We have also put out the call for key committee member positions and had no interest.

We would like to sincerely thank everyone who has been involved in trying to get the Cutters up and running again. Your time, effort, and passion for the club have meant a great deal.

The Killarney Cutters are calling on our amazing community to help shape the future of our club!
As we gear up to try to get into a big 2026 season, all committee positions are currently open, and we’re looking for passionate, committed individuals to step up and be part of our leadership & support team.
Whether you’ve been involved with the club for years or are keen to get involved for the first time, we’d love to hear from you. Roles include President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and general committee positions.

It’s skate night this Friday and we are taking it up a notch… the theme is Grease! Come dressed up and have some fun! Gold coin entry for skaters, bar open and food available.

Huge thank you again to our wonderful volunteers who work very hard to make this event happen for the enjoyment of the community!
