They will lead the delivery of Vocational Education Training (VET) and school sector excellence, through two Adult Community Education campuses and a small alternative high school, Shoalhaven River College.

| LEGISLATION UPDATE |

Earlier in the year the Federal Government committed to implementing all 55 recommendations of the Australian Human Rights Commission's (AHRC) Respect@Work Report.

On the 28th of November, Federal Parliament made good on their word and passed the Anti-Discrimination and Human Rights Legislation Amendment (Respect@Work) Bill. This bill is intended to progress gender equality acknowledging that "s*xual harassment is not inevitable - it is preventable".

These amendments bring notable change to the workplace. One major change is that employers now have a 'positive duty' to take "reasonable and proportionate" measures to eliminate, as far as possible the following: discrimination or harassment on the grounds of s*x, s*xual harassment, hostile workplace environments and acts of victimisation in response to allegations, assertions, complaints and proceedings.
