🥎💗 WHAT A SEASON! 💗🥎

What started with a bunch of softballers turning up with their enthusiasm and running shoes has grown into a season full of great memories, plenty of laughs and some incredible friendships that we hope last a lifetime. 🥰

There’s something pretty special about women supporting women, getting out on the diamond and playing the game we love — no matter your age, experience or skill level. 💪💗

And now… it’s time to FINISH THE SEASON WITH A BANG! 💥🥎🏆Our Mini Masters is here! Three teams, three games, plenty of softball and, of course, one team will walk away as our 2026 Premiers! 🏆

But the fun doesn't finish when the last ball is caught…

🥎 HOW GOOD IS THIS, LADIES?! 🥎
This is what we can strive for! 🙌❤️

For all those ladies who have been asking about Masters Softball — this is a little taste of what it can look like. Women in their 40s, 50s, 60s and even 70s still out there playing the game we love! 💪🥎

These women have STILL GOT IT! 🔥
It just goes to show that age is only a number when you love the game. The skills, the competitiveness, the friendships and, most importantly, the FUN don't have to stop just because we get older.

Getting better with age… like a good bottle of red! 🍷😉

So ladies, keep playing, keep improving and keep turning up. Who knows… maybe this is our future! 💗🥎

🥎 FUNDRAISING PLANNING – EVERYONE WELCOME! 💗

We’re getting together for an informal Fundraising Planning Meeting and we’d love to open it up to our whole Kiama Softball community!

📅 Tuesday 15th September
⏰ 6:30pm
📍 Kiama Bowling Club
🍽️ Grab some dinner, have a drink and throw some ideas around!

We already have a few exciting things in the works, including our 2027 Kiama Softball Calendar, market stall, raffle prizes and some potential sponsorships, but before we lock everything in we’d love to hear ideas and input from the wider club.

If you’d like to be involved, have a fundraising idea, or just want to come along and have a say, please join us! The more ideas and helping hands, the better. 🥰

We’re also on the hunt for raffle prize donations, so if you own a business, know someone who does, or know anyone who may be interested in donating a product, service or voucher, please get in touch. Every little bit helps us raise money for our association. 💗

🥎💗 Looks like the end-of-season stretch has started to take its toll on numbers, with a couple of teams really struggling to get enough players together this Saturday.

We’ve made the call to combine the teams and have just one game at 1:00pm. This way we can have two strong teams with plenty of players and still get a good game in! 🙌

So Diamond Divas and Base Invaders, please come along for the 1:00pm game.

🥎 The Final Stretch of the 2026 Season! 🥎

We’ve made a little change to the end of our season, and we think it’s going to make for a fun and very different way to finish! 🙌

With teams finding it challenging to get numbers week to week, we’ve decided to play two more regular rounds before finishing the season with a Mini Masters on Saturday, 5 September instead of a traditional Grand Final.

🏆 So, what is a KSAI Mini Masters?

We’ll create 2 full teams, plus the Rebels, for a round-robin style day.

⏱️ Games will be 1 hour each:
🕐 12:45 PM
🕑 2:00 PM
🕒 3:15 PM

Each team will play each other, with the third team umpiring

And at the end of the day... 🥁🥁🥁🏆 A Mini Masters Premier will be crowned! 🏆

But before we get there, we still have two more rounds to play!
