It's not just recent bats that roll through the doors, occasionally pieces of history come in for a bit of love.
Back to the days when bats were half the size they are now and not ridiculously dried out or bleached.
When their owners would religiously oil, prepare and look after their "tools".
These won't hit a ball again but have sentimental value to the families of their owners, so we try to preserve as much of their original character as possible, and give them a freshen up so they can be passed on to further generations. Pretty rewarding stuff
