Keysborough District Football Club

The club has also been known, unofficially, as Blue Danube Soccer Club or Kek Duna (which is the Hungarian translation of "Blue Danube"). The club currently competes in the Victorian Division 5 South-East but is looking to make its way up again. Began by a group of migrant Hungarians who had a common interest in the love of football. lue Danube Soccer Club. In 1979 they purchased property in Keysborough, Australia where they are still proudly based, and soon after built the club house. Parkmore has played in various Victorian leagues over the last 30 years, with their greatest successes being in the 80’s, however they still manage to obtain occasional championships. Some Football greats have had links to the club namely Former (Real Madrid) Legend -Ferenc Puskas- one of the world’s legendary players, Attila Abonyi – member of the 1974 Socceroos World Cup squad, the Hungarian national squad and many others. In 2002, Parkmore Soccer Club merged with DMSZ Hungarian Social Club in an effort to bolster the strength of both organizations. Since the merge the club has again enjoyed growth in memberships, player participation and growth with junior sides coming in. Another project has been the re-development of the club facilities, which was opened in 2010.
