Time For A Swim Where confident swimmers are made! Time for a Swim is a small family-run business that is dedicated to providing high quality swim lessons.

We are classified as a boutique swim school, this means your experience is unique, in a small and private environment. We are a "learn to swim" only pool. The pool was built in 1974, however it has been constantly renovated to ensure it remains a high quality pool and maintains it's reputation as a prominent swim school in the area! The pool is 15m long and increases in depth gradually from approximately 1m to 1.8m. There are steps in the shallow end to ensure a safe entry. The pool is heated to 34 degrees to ensure comfort for all of our students all year round. Our swim school is equipped with a female and a male changeroom facilities.

Thanks for making this term so enjoyable! Our last week has been a huge success with water safety week and new activities for our swimmers. We canโ€™t wait to see you back next term, refreshed and ready to take on new challenges. The Get Active Kids Voucher Program is currently open! Round 11 closes 10am 13 October or earlier.

To be eligible, your child must be aged 0 to 18 years old, live in Victoria, and one of the below:
- Named on a Health Care Card and Medicare Card.
- Named on a Pensioner Concession Card and Medicare Card.
- Reside in Victorian Care Services.

Eligible Victorian families can now apply online for a $200 Get Active Kids voucher to cover the cost of memberships, fees, uniforms, and equipment. For more info and to apply visit: https://getactive.vic.gov.au/vouchers/

Starting Monday, we're diving into the last week of term with our Water Safety Week, taking place from 14 - 20 September! ๐Ÿ“… This is an essential part of our program, and we want to make sure everyone is prepared. Remember to wear a spare set of long clothes to your lesson as we practise essential survival skills, such as rescues, use of a lifejacket and recovering to the surface. These skills are crucial in case of an emergency, and we want to make sure you're confident and comfortable in the water. So, don't forget to pack that extra set of clothes and get ready to learn and have fun! ๐ŸŠโ€โ™€๏ธ

World Drowning Prevention Day (25 July 2026) reminds us that preventing drowning isn't the responsibility of one person or one organisation - it takes all of us. Through swimming and water safety education, active supervision, CPR training, safer behaviours around water and strong community partnerships, we can reduce drowning and save lives. Every conversation, every swimming lesson, every CPR course and every moment of active supervision contributes to a safer future. Together, we can turn the tide against drowning.
