Victorian AFG Football Association -VAFA

Victorian AFG Football Association -VAFA VAFA consists of more than 10 soccer clubs and over 200 individual soccer players, mainly from refugee backgrounds.

The Victorian Afghan Football Association (VAFA) was established in 2019 and consists of more than 10 soccer clubs and over 200 individual soccer players, mainly from refugee backgrounds. Our goals and objectives are to engage young people in community sport and provide a platform for soccer teams and players to grow their sporting careers as professional players. A number of players from the VAFA

league have gone onto successful soccer careers, having signed contracts with clubs in the Australian National Premier Leagues, the national second tier competition that underpins the Hyundai A-League and Westfield W-League.
