On the evening of Remembrance Day, Kersbrook Community commemorated the centenary of the Memorial Arch, while also laying wreaths for Remembrance Day by the Community groups & descendants of those who made the supreme sacrifice during war time. Because of the inclement weather, it was held in the Park Pavillion, which was packed for the occasion.

This year the Soldiers' Memorial Park celebrate 100years since the original gates were opened in Oct 1921.
To mark this occasion we are joining with Gumeracha RSL with a Remembrance Day service to be held at the entrance of the Park in Glover Street.
An evening service will begin at 6pm with an opportunity for the public to lay a wreath.
After the service, the clubrooms will be open and a sausage sizzle will be provided for a donation.
