We're getting closer to organising the catering and ordering the hats and stubby holders. If you are planning on making a booking or ordering some merch, here's the link. It will help the organisers if we can have an idea early how many are coming. Early numbers tell us there's going to be a FEW!

WE'RE BACK IN 2022!

Come along to a last HOORAH for all past players, members and supporters and their families and celebrate the successes of the mighty Rovers Football Club, as it was known back in the day.
2021 was 30 years since joining with Kerang FC, and 50 years since the triple Firsts, Seconds and Thirds, and the D Grade netball premierships. We've kept everything in place and ready for the celebrations to roll on in 2022 - Melbourne Cup Weekend.
In total there are 7 football and 7 netball premierships and a whole lot of games in between to catch up on.

ROVERS REUNION POSTPONEMENT
to Melbourne Cup Weekend - 2022
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we realize with border closures and numbers to attend functions, it's just not possible to go ahead.
Rob Walsh will be contacting all who have made payments. Your options are to either have your money returned or leave it with us for 2022.
I thank our Working committee who have put in so much time and effort.
The enthusiasm of our Rovers Football Netball Club Family in this venture has been overwhelming.
Let's all look forward to 2022. We will get this going again.

Our next meeting was due this Monday but we'll wait until restrictions ease and let everyone know the new date.
At this stage, we're thinking we'll be going ahead with our original Reunion date of 30-31 October. "All systems are go until we're told it can't happen".. says Doc tonight. So until we hear otherwise, we'll keep the dates free and have everything ready.
While we have taken bookings and money, it goes without saying we can refund if we have to cancel. We'll know well and truly by mid October if we're postponing so keep those hat and stubby holder orders coming in.
What will help with planning is an idea of how many people are keen to come in October.
A quick email or text to Doc, one of the Walshies or msg this group page to register would help us with the decisions.
