Kenthurst & Districts Football Club has been in operation since 1967. We are a community run club with a small number of Volunteers and affiliation with GHFA.

⚽️ Hills FA Festival of Football ⚽️

Our U10 BOS team had a fantastic morning at the Hills Football Festival of Football on 16 May, joining teams from across the association for a fun-filled day of football.

It was great to see the boys representing Kenthurst with plenty of energy, teamwork and smiles. A great experience and another opportunity to enjoy the game we love!

⚽️ Team of the Week – Round 6 ⚽️

A huge shoutout to our U14/3’s for earning Team of the Week! 🙌🔴⚪️

The team put together a fantastic performance in their 2–0 victory over North Rocks, showing great determination, teamwork and discipline from the first whistle to the last 💪

The boys worked hard for each other all game, staying organised defensively and taking their chances when it mattered most. It was a complete team performance and a well-deserved result against a strong opponent 👏🔥

An awesome effort from everyone involved and another great example of what can be achieved through hard work and teamwork. Keep it up, boys! ⚽️❤️

For Round 10, the Kenthurst & District Football Club community came together as one to honour the memory of Levi Roodenburg. 🖤

From our youngest juniors to our senior teams, players across the club wore black armbands and observed a minute of silence before kick-off in support of Levi, and the entire Roodenburg family.

Football is so much more than a game — it’s community, family, and standing beside one another through life’s hardest moments. The overwhelming support shown across our club this weekend was a reminder that no one walks alone.

To Luke, Levi’s siblings and loved ones, please know your Kenthurst football family stands with you today and always.

A special moment before our Super League clash on the weekend as both teams observed a minute’s silence and our boys wore black armbands in memory of young Levi Roodenburg. ❤️🖤

It was fitting that this tribute took place at Blacktown, a club that played such an important role throughout Levi’s father Luke’s football journey.

The thoughts of everyone at Kenthurst & District Football Club remain with Luke, his family, friends, teammates, and all those whose lives Levi touched. His courage and spirit will never be forgotten.

We would also like to encourage all teams playing between 5–7 June to wear black armbands and observe a minute’s silence where possible as a show of support for the Roodenburg family and the wider Kenthurst community during this difficult time.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of young Levi Roodenburg, who sadly lost his courageous battle with brain cancer on 28 May 2026, aged just 9 years old.

Levi’s father, Luke, is a Life Member of Kenthurst & District Football Club, and Levi’s siblings are valued members of our wider Hills football family. During this incredibly difficult time, we extend our deepest condolences, love and support to Luke, the Roodenburg family, and all who knew and loved Levi.

Levi’s strength, courage and fighting spirit throughout his journey touched so many lives. While words cannot ease the pain of such a heartbreaking loss, we hope the family can find comfort in knowing that an entire football community stands beside them.

For those wishing to celebrate Levi’s life:
