With the help of families, parents, carers and friends, our club works with our young athletes to develop positive attitudes to a healthy lifestyle. As the name suggests, Little Athletics is based upon the sport of athletics (track and field) and the events are specially modified to suit the ages and abilities of children. Events vary for different age groups, but can include: 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, 60m Hurdles, 80m Hurdles, 90m Hurdles, 100m Hurdles, 1100m Walk, and 1500m Walk. Further, many field events are on offer, including Long Jump, Triple Jump, High Jump, Shot Put, Discus and Javelin.
