Last weekend, UNSW Kendo Club proudly participated in the 2025 NSW State Championship, demonstrating exceptional skill, teamwork, and perseverance throughout the event. We are delighted to announce this year’s outstanding results:

Men’s Dan Team – 1st Place 🥇

BEGINNER’S COURSE SCHEDULE – 2025 TERM 2
✅ Class 1 – Wednesday, 11th June

Kickstart your Kendo journey with our first beginners course of the year, starting Wednesday, 19th February 2025 Term 1.

🎉UNSW Kendo Club at 2025 Term 1 O-Week!

We’re excited to welcome you to our stall in front of the Law Library from Monday to Wednesday (Feb 10–12)! Come and experience the essence of kendo—the “Way of the Sword.” Whether you’re completely new to kendo or just curious, we’d love to meet you!

What’s Happening?🤩
✅ Guided Shinai Experience – Try holding a shinai (bamboo sword) and strike the targets on our armoured members under members‘ guidance.
✅ Live Demonstrations – Watch our members showcase powerful strikes and kendo techniques in action.
✅ Equipment Display – Get a closer look at kendo armour, shinai, and colorful tenugui (traditional cloths).

📅 Dates: Monday – Wednesday (Feb 10–12), UNSW O-Week Term 1 2025

Look no further than our dynamic Kendo Club – where tradition meets adrenaline, and where every strike is a step towards personal growth!
