📣 Kenmore Little Athletics Needs Your Help!
As we prepare for the upcoming Little Athletics season, we're calling on parents and carers to help keep Kenmore Little Athletics running for our local children and families.
Committee Formation Meeting
📅 Thursday 11 June
🕖 7:00pm – 8:30pm
📍 Kenmore Library, Kenmore Village, 9 Brookfield Road, Kenmore
Like many community sporting clubs, Kenmore Little Athletics is run entirely by volunteers. Next season, all Executive Committee positions will be vacant, and we urgently need new volunteers to step forward.
Key positions that must be filled include:
• Centre Manager
• Secretary
• Treasurer
There are also many other committee roles available, with varying levels of responsibility and time commitment.
At the meeting, we'll:
✔ Explain how the club operates
✔ Outline committee roles and responsibilities
✔ Discuss time commitments
✔ Answer questions
✔ Elect next season's committee
There is absolutely no obligation to take on a role by attending. If you're curious about how the club works or want to learn more before deciding, we'd love to see you there.
Kenmore Little Athletics has been a valued part of our community for many years, helping children stay active, build confidence, and make lasting friendships. However, without a new committee, the club will not be able to operate next season.
Many roles can be shared, and current committee members will be available to support and guide new volunteers during the transition.
