On Thursday we hosted our Lady President/Patroness day - Tracey Ferriday, Merle Murtagh and Treena Hope. Although the weather was a bit dodgy, we managed to play 2 quick games. It was great to see 7 rinks of bowlers take part. Thanks to our visiting clubs, as well as our own members for making it a great day.
Special thanks to our members who helped decorate the dining room, prepared food, donated raffle prizes and organise a fantastic day.
Winners were drawn out of the hat.
Well done to our club for hosting a fabulous event.

Sorry for the late post again.
Last Sunday the Men's club held President Ken's Day. It was a great roll up with 14 teams taking part.
Winners for the day was the official team from Kenilworth, Ken Rough, Tim Engle, Russ Ferriday and Adam Engle with the runners up being the Tin Can Bay team. A big thanks to all visiting clubs and the all members who helped on the day.

This Saturday is the final round of the Mary Valley Challenge.
The Gold team travel to Cooloola Coast 12.30pm start - players selected - Ben Field, Brad Parker, Susan Rough, Denise Hendry, Ken Rough, Ken Murtagh and Cedric Hendry.
Both Blue and Maroon teams are at home against The Albert Club, also starting at 12.30pm.
Blue team - Steve Granville, Peter Rough, Treena Hope, Adam Engle, Stuart Bradley, Garry Buchanan and Patrick Walsh.
Maroon team - Tim Engle, Ivan Wright, Tony Engle, John Ferriday, Janelle Westlake, Veronica Ferriday and Tracey Ferriday.
